The Pew Research Center for the People and Press compiled their results from a 1997 national survey. Under the heading of Judgment, 64 percent of the respondents completely agreed with the statement: “We all will be called before God at the Judgment Day to answer for our sins.” Only 52 percent completely agreed a decade before. Regardless of how many people agree, the Bible clearly declares that such a day awaits every person (Hebrews 9:27). (World, Jan. 31, 1998, p. 16)
