Introduction to the Olivet Discourse

Introduction to the Olivet Discourse

Free Bible Study: The Harmony of the Gospels
Study the life of Jesus through the inspired word of the Gospel writers. Every verse of the Gospels of Mathew, Mark, Luke and John was written to tell His story, so that we can know Him and find salvation through faith in Him.

v  Use for daily Bible study

v  Use as a commentary on the four gospels

v  Use to teach the Life of Christ

A very wealthy man was determined to beat the system and “take it all with him.” He unrelentlessly prayed for God to grant him this one request and eventually the Lord gave in. The billionaire knew his life was waning so he liquidated all of his assets and had it converted to gold bullion. After his death, he was greeted by a very confused St. Peter. The man was ecstatic about carrying all of his wealth into heaven and couldn’t contain himself. He opened his large bag of gold and showed it to Peter. The heavenly gatekeeper wasn’t at all impressed. With a puzzled look the apostle asked, “Why are you carrying all of that pavement with you?” How ironic that so many of us sell our souls to obtain nothing more than heavenly pavement.
