Free Bible Study: 1st  Corinthians

Immorality was common in Corinth and its church, where some denied the future resurrection, and adopted the motto, "Let us eat and drink, for to-morrow we die" ([15]1Co 15:32). It was from this attitude, perhaps, that an incestuous relationship continued in the so-called Christian body between a man and his stepmother, while his father lived. The household of Chloe informed Paul of many other evils within that church. Paul addresses those evils in his letter to the Corinthians.

There is a very good reason the Psalmist compared God’s Word to honey (Psalm 19:10). It’s the only food that does not spoil. Philosophies and trends will come and go, but the Word of God will always remain fresh, relevant, and true. If we hide its words in our heart, it will keep us from spoiling (Psalm 119:11).
